I feigned chasing dreams,
In reality, I let them get away.

whilst going through the motions.
By keeping calm,
and keeping a tight rein on my emotions.
I feigned chasing excitement,

Reading about history's no substitute for making it.

And not taking chances.
By staying quiet,
and sitting on the sidelines at dances.
